On 8 November, our Chief Executive, Moira Sinclair welcomed artists, composers, friends and colleagues from across the arts to our offices in London to announce and celebrate the recipient of Awards for Artists 2023. This blog summarises her opening words to the 200 guests who came together to mark this special event.

We are delighted to announce the 10 recipients of Awards for Artists 2023 – the largest individual awards to visual artists and composers in the UK.

Every four years, we ask our grantees and declined applicants to complete a survey asking about their perceptions of PHF, focusing on our impact; commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion; and our processes, interactions and communications. Our most recent survey was conducted in 2022 by the Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP).
